Our Weed Control Schedule
At Stiles Lawn, Landscaping & Snow Removal Inc., we follow a strict schedule when applying our weed control treatments. We will visit your property six times throughout the year to apply our weed control treatments to your lawn. However, we will do more than just apply weed control treatments to your lawn during our visits, we will also fertilize your lawn during each visit, and during three of our visits, we will apply insect control treatments! Our 6-step weed control schedule is as follows:
- Step 1: We will administer a pre-emergent weed control treatment in April to prevent weeds from growing on your lawn. We also apply granular fertilizer to your lawn to give it a boost of nutrients.
- Step 2: During our second visit, we will apply both pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments. We also administer another round of fertilizer.
- Step 3: In June, not only will we administer another round of weed control and fertilizer, but we also apply a granular grub control treatment to your lawn.
- Step 4: During our fourth visit, we will spray any existing weeds with our post-emergent weed control herbicide. We will also apply another round of fertilizer to your lawn to refresh its supply of nutrients and an insect control treatment to eliminate lawn insects.
- Step 5: During our fifth visit, we will apply the same treatments that we did during our fourth visit.
- Step 6: During our final visit of the year, we will apply one last round of post-emergent weed control and one more fertilization treatment.
